This place is really good! We tried the turkey and cheese and meatball and cheese. The bread was soft, the meat quality was fresh. The service was quick and the quality was good. I would definitely go there again if I was in the area.

I went to one of the nearby stores and I decided to bring home sandwiches and fries for my family. I felt like the cashier was shy, but nice. Very normal and easy transaction, I verified what was on the sandwiches, asked to leave a couple items off for my partner's sando, paid, got food, left. My sandwich was good and gone too quickly. The bread was soft, fresh ingredients, condiments not too overpowering. I'd come back here for sure.

If you want something different than a Subway or Jimmy John's even different than Jersey Mike, I highly recommend this place. It's a small family owned sandwich place with amazing sandwichs. Bread is never stale, and vegetables are fresh. I always get the "Ambros California" but have also had other sandwiches. But I always go back to California. Very nice people who make it a point to remember your name and your order. And French fries are cooked to order .

I am writing this on behalf of my hubby. He swears that the sandwiches are good and he can't complain about their sandwiches. Me on the other half I am like meh. I have had better. His complaints is their hours. Showed up at 5:20 pm and they were closed. No sign on door that said "closing early". Business hours say closed at 6 pm. The Asian lady looked at him like she didn't care.

I've lived next to this place for many years and never thought to try it out. I'm glad I did because it's really fresh tasting and a perfect summer sandwich.

I think this has been one of if not my favorite sandwich spot for lunch. I always order the steak cheese and avocado and it always taste so good. I have seen the bread rolls get smaller over time but that still doesn't take away from how good they are.

The beautiful lady who runs the show alone could get 5 stars for personality, respect, sweetness.. even though I came half an hour before close, (google maps had it wrong or I wouldn't of shown up) she probably been here since opening and still has the positivity gleaming off her. The ambiance is perfect for the type of shop it is, total 90s deli where you seem to always be the only customer.. obviously the food is ...can't go wrong with a sandwich. Makes me wonder why I'm always complaining for absolutely nothing, been years since I've been here, well, started new job today & it's back in the area! See you around, lady!

I went here for lunch and got a meatball, sausage and cheese Sandwich. They are a bit on the pricier side, but the food was very good! I asked if they put spinach and olives on the sandwiches, they said they don't have it. So if you've thinking they might be like subway, they aren't, but that's okay! Overall, the sandwich was really really good and I'll definitely be back!

Great sandwiches, fast service, and local shop. My go to is always the Ambro's California with everything. Love the fine diced lettuce, just the right amount of avocado. This place cranks the sandwich out! I've never seen a place crank the sandwich out so quick. It's only a buck more for a large. Fresh bread - not sure it's baked here but tasted fresh. Located on the corner of Arrow Highway and San Dimas Ave. They are in a strip mall with a reasonable amount of parking .

Stopped in due to curiosity since I drive by this shop all the time. Decided to try the egg salad, I ordered a large and within a couple minutes my order was ready. Nice like shop, clean. Friendliness could be worked on, but nevertheless I have no complaints, just kudos for quickness and no waiting. As I left there were several people on their way in so maybe next time there might be a wait. Sandwich was good, egg salad was fresh!
